Mission: The Methuen Historical Society is committed to protecting and maintaining the rich historical character of the City of Methuen. Through advocacy, education, outreach, and the preservation of historical records and artifacts-including the Tenney Gate House – the Society tells the story of a community endowed with beautiful buildings, historical figures and monuments as unique as our City. The Methuen Historical Society believes that by advocating for the past, the quality of life for the people, businesses and organizations of our city is enhanced for today and tomorrow.
