Salisbury Historical Society

Salisbury Historical Society Museum features historical maps, flags, documents, furniture, and Civil War memorabilia. The Museum also has a genealogy expert with over 20 years of local genealogy research experience. The Historical Commission was founded in 1972 and is charged with ensuring that preservation concerns are considered in community planning and development decisions. They also serve as local preservation advocates and as an important resource for information about the community’s cultural resources and preservation activities.
