Scope and Content: The Governor’s Legislative Office is responsible for coordinating gubernatorial interaction with the legislature.  In fulfilling this function it coordinates research into legislative areas and legislation of interest to or proposed by the governor.  Governor’s legislation files are created to support this activity.

Notes: Formerly known as: Legislative reference files. Dukakis (1975-1979) files originally known as: MSD 2/951-953, 1001-1006, 1025, 1051-1052. Romney files (including Swift and some earler files) originally accessioned as: R1-14, but many were combined with other segments of the series
