Scope and Content: Commissioners appointed pursuant to Resolves 1811, c 34 to review surrendered claims and determine compensatory grants to nonresident proprietors in Lincoln County, District of Maine, met in late 1811 and 1812 to receive testimony of proprietors and town settlers, submission, and deeds of release.  Administrative files were created in fulfilling these functions.
