Scope and Content: St 1870, c 329 (MGLA c 29, s 41) obligated the Massachusetts state treasurer to keep all deeds and instruments conveying real property to the Commonwealth.  But St 1980, c 579, s 48 provided that the treasurer was not required to keep records related to property acquired for the use of state agencies.
