Scope and Content: The adjutant general of the Commonwealth, as executive administrator of the state’s Military Establishment, came to be responsible for preserving information about past military episodes and service relating to Massachusetts.  This series comprises a log of inquiries sent to federal agencies for the purpose of obtaining information to complete service records of U.S. naval personnel from Massachusetts. The log appears to index another unidentified series.
