Scope and Content: In its statutory role as advocate for services to children in Massachusetts, the Office for Children promotes the development of such programs and services (MGLA c 28A, s 4(b)) by researching and reporting on related issues.  Series is maintained by the office’s communications unit (public relations) to document research disseminated to office personnel, allied volunteer units, other state agencies, and legislators.
