Scope and Content: The Massachusetts Black Caucus consists of legislators representing African American communities of the Commonwealth in the Massachusetts General Court proposing and reviewing legislation relevant to those communities.  School racial imbalance subject files document the caucus’s investigation of racial imbalance in the Boston and Springfield public school systems.
