Scope and Content: The Joint Committee on Federal Financial Assistance, a standing committee of the General Court, considers all matters concerning receipt of aid from the federal government, joint resolutions relative to memorializing the Congress of the United States or other federal agencies or officials, and other matters referred.  Pursuant to MGLA c 29, s 6B (St 1981, c 351, s 199 as amended), the committee receives for review proposals from state agencies applying for federal grants or participation in federally assisted programs under federal law.  Series is created to administer such review.
